Time Flies

I cant believe that it has been nearly 10 months since my last post. All I can say is I have been super busy. There has been a lot going on with the 3 older kids out of school for the summer, and even more going on with My little Addie (now 1) with her walking. In the past few months we had a lot of great things that happened: Kaleb had a darling kindergarten graduation, Bry and Cate also both graduated 2nd and 4th (as they would say) Caitlin has been doing tumbling and almost has her back handspring which she is so proud of. Bryson had an AWESOME baseball season this year, his team was the #1 team in the league with 0 losses. They were quite proud to call themselves undefeated. They went to the playoffs...where they lost....shucks!! Kaleb had his 6th birthday, and Addison had her first birthday and began walking. My mom, sister and I have been working on getting a small boutique up and going and have had a couple fun craft fairs and boutiques that we have taken our stuff to. 4 months and 2 teeth

Here are some pictures taken of Addie @ 4 months (even though she is almost 5 months). She has recently hit a growth spirt and has just barely graduated from 0-3 month clothes to 3-6 (yep at almost 5 months) Our little Cutie Pie also surprised us with 2 teeth, 1 of which was before she was even 4 months. Gee Wizz.....

Growing up so fast!

So I am just sittin back listening to my kids and realizing that they are growing up....TOO FAsT might I add. Bryson is 9 1/2 and going into 4th grade, always has girls chasing him, he always has a new girlfriend, wants to go play with friends constantly and wants to wear a CUP while playing baseball (he is not shy about that one...He lets EVERYONE know)

Caitlin is almost 8 and will be getting baptized soon, she is going into 2nd grade, she doesnt like boys yet thank goodness, she has her splits down (all 3 ways), she also is such a big help with her sissy and she is going to be such a good mommy someday, and She is growing like a weed.

My little Kaleb isn't so little anymore..I cant believe my (use to be baby) is going to Kindergarten in less than a week, he has tonz of friends and loves to go play with them, he just turned 5 in June and already wears a size 6 and sometimes even a 7, he is just so tall.

Then there is my Addison, she has gotten so fun, she isnt a newborn anymore (except for the size), she is Happy and smiles and coo's. She is 3 months now. I love how she is so alert and loves to see me.

I cant believe how fast this life goes...Where has all the time gone?

Accident Prone

Kaleb took a picture of his knee to see what it looked like!

Kaleb started limping on his right knee one day, so I looked at it and it was VERY swollen. The next day it was much worse (so bad that he couldn't even straighten his leg, so it was stuck bent at a 90 degree angle) so I made him an appointment, and he had to get X-rays, the doc didnt know what was wrong with it so they splinted it and sent him home. Through the night it got even worse and was hurting him to even touch it...And he could NO longer walk on it...so I was stuck carrying kim on one side and addison on the other side!! I decided this was NOT going to work for me, so I made him an appointment with a specialist that same day and The doctor had to straighten his leg, and if he moved it at all it would lock back up into the 90 degree angle again. Kaleb was getting so frustrated because he wanted his leg straight. The doc had to come straighten it out again for him like 4 times. They also did x-rays and somehow he had injured his growth plate in his knee. They think he fractured it but said a lot of times with kids they cant see the fracture on an x-ray. So below is a picture of Kaleb with his FULL LEG cast for summer!! No WATER for him...poor thing!! The weird thing is that he broke his knee and he doesnt even know what he did. We are guessing it happened on his bike when he crashed into his cousin, but he never came crying or anything...he just got back up and kept riding!

Addison's First Photo Shoot

YAY!!! Addison got her first photo shoot. She didnt like it at all. She was 10 days old and not cooperative. She just wanted to SLEEP. She is a very light sleeper so we just kept waking her up. It took about 6 hours to get some shots of her. My cousin Jen was the photographer that came ALL the way down from Arizona to take the pictures of little miss sassy pants. Addison Kay Smith


Our beautiful baby girl is finally here..Addison was born May 12, 2009 @ 11:34 A.M, weighing in at 6 LBS 7 OZ, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

This sure was a quick labor and delivery. I was induced at 7 am and we were done a short 4 hrs later. Addie had the cord wrapped around her neck twice, and also had a bowel movement before she was born but she is doing great

38 weeks....and STILL pregnant!!!

Well I am finally at the great milestone of 38 weeks... and yep im still pregnant!! At my last Dr appt on friday I was dialated to a 3, which is good I guess...but no signs of labor yet. So I am scheduled for induction 1 week from tuesday, unless for some reason I go before then. So I will update ya'll again next week.

36 weeks and counting.....

Well I am now 36 weeks along. I am getting excited to be done being pregnant and have our little girl here. I went to the Dr. on friday and I am already dialated to a 2 so I am hoping she will be born in the next 2 weeks or so. I will keep ya'll updated.

Yesterday was Brysons Birthday...I CANNOT believe he is already 9. It went by so fast.

Our house...

Okay so it has been like a month and a half since I last posted pictures of our house. I know I said I would do a weekly post with the pictures...But it was going up so fast that every time I went over there something new was done or being done and I couldnt get the pics. Well The house is DONE!!! So now I have some pictures to share. We are so excited, we will be closing in a week.

BABY NAMES ANYONE???

Well today I am 24 weeks...Thats right only 16 left to go. It has been driving me crazy lately, I need a name to start calling our little baby. Everyone asks what we are going to name her and I REALLY have no clue.. SO, I need HELP finding an adorable, unique, Girly name SO EVERYONE HELP ME OUT.

I love the name Emma, but unfortunately that wont work seeing how our last name is Smith. I also like Gracie and Ellie, but I need MORE ideas. I have a book with 60 thousand plus names in it...But reading that stresses me out.

Christmas

Man I cannot believe how fast this year has passed. Especially how fast Christmas came and went. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday but with all of the exhaustion I must say that I am glad we have a year before its here again.

We had a wonderful day together, we were waken up just before 7 by footsteps galore coming from upstairs. With my sister and her hubby and their 2 kids plus my 3 kids and grandma and grandpa there was no way to ignore the footsteps no matter how tired we were from staying up so late.

It all started out with the exciting tradition of opening their 1 present on Christmas Eve from Grammy and papa....What could it be?? Pj's of course....All of the grandkids always get matching Jammies.

Jr. Jazz

So Saturday was Brysons last Jr. Jazz basketball game. He loves playing, and was on a fairly good team. Mike and my dad were the Coach/Asst. Coaches and they would always come home so proud that their team was undefeatable. It was really cute to see how all 3 of them were always excited for saturdays to come so that they could have their "male bonding" time. Here are a few shots from the game.

building...Week 3

Okay so it has been almost 3 weeks since they started building our house and I must say it is taking shape now. I will take pictures weekly and post them. It is so exciting they started Framing the house. It has been fun to see it start from being an empty lot to having a big hole on the lot, then getting cement, to now getting lumber. I drive by everyday now that there is something to look at.
I am going to go snap some pictures of it when I pick the kiddos up from school then I will post them.

Caitlin's Christmas Dance Performance

So tonight was Caitlins adorable dance performance. My heck it was a cute one, let me just say the girl really knows how to shake it. She has been so stoked about this dance that she insisted that she get all dressed up for it right when she walked in the door from school. Isn't her outfit so darling.. They always have the cutest, most stylish ones!!

IT'S OFFICIAL

So I just got home from the long awaited Doctors Appt, and It is definately official...We know what we are having...HERE IS HOW WE FEEL...

1) We are smiling from ear to ear
2) I am definately going shopping TONIGHT
3) We couldnt even wait until we got out to the car to start calling everyone
4) All of those clothes I already bought ARE going to work
5) We feel so blessed to have our 2 boys and our 2 girls!!!!!

Thats right, it is 100% girl... I cant wait till the kids get home from school so I can tell them...They are going to be so, so excited...I guarantee they will want to go shopping with me to pick some stuff out!!!

DIG DAY

Yay how exciting, I drove by our lot last Tuesday and I was so excited to see that the whole crew was out there in the cold digging our hole. I didnt take any pictures that day because all you could really see was mounds and mounds of dirt. I was still extatic...So after the holiday, and the shopping, then the dreadful stomach flu I was finally able to drive by again today. We now have a basement and it is all CEMENTED, here are the pictures i snapped. Not very many seeing how the dirt is still a mile high. I will keep posting new pictures of our house as the progress continues!!!
